>Akropolis Jet Raid 2012: Patricia, the only woman

Patricia Mosselman is the only woman participating in Akropolis Jet Raid and actually she and her husband had been involved in Jet Raid racing since 2001, since the Raid was taken place in Africa. She is a great rider especially in rough water conditions. Both topped the F2 Class in 3rd place.

Frenchman Jean-Bruno Pastorello and his Team mate Belgium’s Sylvain Ente dominated in the Akropolis Jet Raid and until the final Moto showed their true professionalism by winning 1-2 in the Overall Standing as well as in F1 Class. However Greek Multi-National Champion, Akis Malouchos proved that he is not only the ace of close course racing but also that he can play key role Off-Shore Endurance racing by climbing in third position in F1 Class. He is the first Greek rider who ever tops the podium of Akropolis Jet Raid and the second that finishes in any Jet Raid International event. >Akropolis Jet Raid 2012: Pastorello, closer to the overall win

Jean-Bruno Pastorello owner of Team Pastorello has done a great job on Saterday (Day 5)morning by winning ahead of his team mate Sylvain the Navigation Moto and got closer to overall win of Akropolis Jet Raid 2012. The Frenchman was behind his team mate for most of the time and then by using a little trick he got some extra speed and managed to finish first. Greek Rider Akis Malouchos finished third, which is a great result since it comes colder to clinching the 3rd place in the podium. The Day (and he race) will end with the afternoon’s 45min close course race. Stay tuned. Mosselman cuple was unlucky since they experienced a mechanical issue just before finishing the Navigation Moto.

>Akropolis Jet Raid 2012: 3 Greeks in top five

The fact that Jean-Bruno Pastorello took the lead in the General Classification as well as in F1 Class it was predictable bearing in mid his unique skill and determination. On the other hand no one had predicted that two Greek riders would be in top five of the General Classification and three in top five of F1 Class. A unique achievement. >Akropolis Jet Raid 2012: Pastorello wins both Motos

Although, Frenchman multi champion won both motos o Day3 the big surprise came from Greek rider George Vassilakis who finished second ahead of Sylvain. The weather conditions were much better on Thursday and all riders had a great time. Politis could not finish even moto 1 due to heavy backache. Spain’s Ferrer experience some problems with the ECU plugs although he remained 3rd in the Overall standings and Stamboltzis suffered from a broken steering cable at the end of Moto 2.
