>King’s Cup Pro Runabout: Rius won the title

Nicolas Rius proved to be very fast on his Turbocharged Yamaha FZR by winning 3 out of 4 motos as well as Heat 2 in Qualifying. He cruised in fourth Moto letting Japanese rider Masaharu Takenoshita to take the win in last Moto. On the podium Rius stepped on top in front of Chokuthit Molee and Jared Moore. Japanese rider Hajime Isahai finished 4rth overall in front of Takenoshita and Indonesian Aero Sutan Aswar who was racing on a new Yamaha Limited FZR since he could not bring from USA his Open boat due to the floods in Indonesia. IJSBA 2011 GP Runabout and Pro Runabout winner british James Bushell run in to all sort of problems (broken pump actually a drive shaft bearing and on Moto2 a broken CDI...) on his winning Sea-Doo which left him out of the game. Steven Dauliach, 2011 Pro Ski IJSBA World Champion reports from Thailand in his own words: “This weekend 3/4 décember, 2011, Steven has just won the WORLD CUP Grand Prix of Jetski in Thailand in front of lot of good riders like Kevin Reiterer, Takenoshita, Sherker, Kurashashi… This is the 3rd time Steven won this title and become the first rider who has won this title as many times. It’s official, Steven has won every races this year within the XBJ Racing team. Team he entered thanks to Sheikh Maktoom in 2011. Actually, proski rider and personal trainer of his teammate Omar al Rashid, Steven finished his contract: promote XBJ racing on every podium. XBJ Racing on all podium… UAE champion in proski class by winning 12 of 14 motos of the championship, world champion IJSBA (World Finals in lake havasu city USA). Who can say that Steven is not the best rider in the world his year again at 30 years old ? Not necessary to discuss, results are talking about themselves. More than a passion, a job : « When Maktoom tell me to win that and that race, I win that’s it. I have never won any training…, this is not my job ». Further more, don’t forget that Omar finished 3rd overall iin pro ski behind Sherker and Steven Dauliach and 2nd in Pro am ski this week-end in Thailand. « Thank you all to support me (facebook, email, SMS…), I read all of your messages, and above all my partners and particularly to XBJ RAcing which let me be happy in my work and life. » Sponsors: PXBJ Racing, Shoei, Spy, Jettrim, Humidi-tech, Carteint, Jetski Magazine, Slippery wetsuits. >King’s Cup Pro-AM Women Ski Limited: Yuki on top

Japanese rider Yuki Kurakashi was simply in a class of her own since she managed to won all four Motos in Pro-AM Women Ski Limited. Six riders were competing in the class and Yuki proved her international experience. Second place finisher was Orrapan Theerapatranit and third Heidi Leitch from S.Africa.

British rider and recent IJSBA World Champion in Pro Runabout and GP Runabout class, James Bushell won his Qualifier Heat in Pro Runabout Open in Thailand. James is going for the win and his great performance in Havasu puts him in top favors for the title.

Nicolas Rius appeared very strong in Thailand on his Turbocharged race craft. He won his Qualifier Heat and his scope is to win the Runabout class since he was not able to perform as he wanted at the World Finals due to the accident he had in September. Well, he has four Moto’s to go through prior wining King’s Cup.

>Alex Kuramshin tested Force IP5

Russian Pro Freestyle rider Alex Kuramshin had the opportunity to test ride the brand new Force IP5 who was ridden by Russian Pro Freestyle UIM World Champion rider Ivan Potanin. The particular Freestyle craft was designed and manufactured by Pascal Barriac. Barriac is working at the moment of a Freeride hull based on the same concept and high definition aftermarket parts.
