He played it safe in the first day by finishing second in the morning\u0092s Moto and in the afternoon where the conditions were rough he rode in a conservative pace during most of the race and he started lapping faster at the last ten minutes. As he mentioned \u0093This is only the first day and if you do not save the boat you may end up braking on the very first day.
