Lots of local people and tourists were gathered in the Paddock of Akropolis Jet Raid to admire the race boats, teams and athletes. The Major of Kalamata City, Nikas Panagiotis started the Ceremory of the Race along with the Representative of Region of Poloponnisos and its representative, Ntina Nikolakakou. The riders were announced to reach the podium one by one and officially the start of the Fourth Akropolis Jet Raid was declared. On Tuesday the riders will depart from Kalamata to go to Pilos via Petalidi and then to Methoni and back to Kalamata. In total they will cover a distance of 230km and they will refuel twice.
