Lee Stone and Daniel Martin raised the level in competition and Jake Forest also put an awesome set of tricks too in his routine. However, Japanese rider Haruki Tsukamoto made a serious point on his X-2 style freestyle boat putting an one of a kind show with unique tricks that no one had ever performed in the past. Heel clicker was the new trick of Lee Stone as he was caught on air. Team Rickter riders did not show up this year and according to Rick Roy there was a reason for this decision.
