It is the first time that someone puts such sponsons on a Freestyle\/Freeride craft. Rick Roy explains in his own words the scope behind this innovation. \u0093When they are on it rides just like a regular FS-2 it make the rail straight. But when you take them out it makes the rail go up, that makes the nose go up easier for free style tricks ,back flip ,sharp turn. I would say it makes the ski handle something between a FS2 and a XF-S without them. Big surf with sponson small surf no sponson.
