Sato managed to win 3 out of five Rounds and he actually secured the title in the fourth round. His main rival was last year\u2019s champion Shogo Ebihara and Ryuji Masuko. Sato was riding the same Factory 1500 SX-R as the one used in the 2025 season however, Minoru Kanamori supplied him with a more powerful engine. Initially Sato could not understand how to ride this tricky 1500 SX-R and he had to be patient and doing lots of hard work in order match his riding style with the behavior and handling of the Factory SX-R. Tamotsu Yamada was his main instructor and trainer this season. Mao Sato in an employee in Kawasaki motorcycle division where he inspects the completion of the motorcycle units. His daily working schedule does not provide him enough time to practice on his SX-R therefore he practices only during weekends. At the age of 22 he may not have any sponsors however, everyone in Kawasaki helped him all year long.
