R&D is doing lots of work on the new Yamaha SHO. According to Bill Chapin we went 76 miles per hour with the Yamaha SHO by using the R&D intercooler and modified supercharger and the engine had 15 pounds of boost, big intercooler, R&D/VIPEC ECU. We can possibly go 78 with a skat trak 12 vein pump. Chapin believes that the Yamaha is a beast on the bottom end and has the potential to do even better than that.
