First we had rear sponsons, lately the front ones came into fashion and now someone introduced the middle sponsons. Developed with Mr. Kyoji Katayama - Japan's leading constructor. Designed with a new idea in mind, of installing it in the middle of the hull in order to enhance handling characteristics especially when the riders changes direction rapidly, by leaning from one side to the other. These set of middle sponsons made smooth cornering possible. Especially made for X-2s (and SX-R), they display supreme result with it because their front end tends to slide frequently.
