Sydney Sea-Doo dealership owner and Pro Runabout racer, James Masterton competed last weekend at the 2013 Asian Aquabike Grand Prix on October 26-27 in China. The invite only event featured two, 20minute motos for an overall title. In a bold move to display both reliability and solid overall performance, Masterton chose to use his Sydney Sea-Doo Performance RXP300 Kit on a brand new RXP260 supplied by Smooth Marine of Hong Kong. This exact kit is the same package retailed to his customers from the Sydney Sea-Doo dealership in Australia with performance unmatched for the $4,990 price tag. In a solid field of genuine Pro Open skis, Masterton started moto one from position six. After battling with riders for almost 10 minutes, Masterton moved into second, finishing 0.8 seconds behind the Chinese winner. Moto two saw James start from position two and on lap six made a pass for the lead. Whilst running into lapped traffic, Masterton was re-passed finishing second at the checkered flag. I chose to race with our 300 kit this weekend to prove to people that using the correct combination of parts and more importantly the correct people installing these parts will bring results both on the track and provide trouble free recreation use.
