Teddy Ponss outstanding performance in Guadeloupe was on board a brand new Yamaha FX SVHO. According to his information which was prepared by Audemar it featured a stock Yamaha 1.8 liter engine equipped with a MoTeC ECU, an aftermarket intercooler, and a Supercharger impeller made by Riva. The drive line consisted of an aftermarket pump made by Easy Rider and the stock intake grate was replaced by an R&D one. According to Teddy Pons the engine output was approximately at 350hp and the performance of his boat was consistently at 120km/h at 8100rpm.
