>Reiterer reports from Croatia

Porec, Croatia - The seaside town Porec hosted the first race of the European Championship last weekend. Besides Jeremy Poret (FRA) and Nacho Armillias (ESP) the best of the best arrived in Croatia for the first battle of the season. It was the first major test for Reiterer on a new boat and engine setup. Strong winds and waves brought the athletes to their physical limits. The Austrian won GP2 in front of Nacho Armillias (ESP) and his team member Daniel Andersen (NOR). A solid third place finish behind Stian Schjetlein (NOR) and Jeremy Poret (FRA) held Reiterer on the reach for another title. “I am not satisfied with the performance of the things we worked on in the off season. There is more work to do to reach the full potential of our setup. However, this weekend’s experience brought a lot of results to our team” explains the young Austrian. In four weeks, the World Cup takes off in south of Italy on another open sea race with unpredictable conditions.
