Mike Canadian Ace Klippenstein wins the second Round of the Triple Crown Offshore series, the famous race of Long Beach to Catalina on his freshly built R&D Turbocharged Yamaha FX SVHO. Prior going to California for the race Klipper spent some time in Lake Havasu City in order to test and evaluate some new parts that R&D has designed for the new Yamaha. Therefore, his race craft was equipped with a new R&D Aquavein scoop grate, new sponson settings, revised engine/turbo settings as well as a new seat. The R&D turbo kit has been race proven with another win and with remarkable Bullet Proof reliability. Mike Klippenstein and his R&D Turbopowered Yamaha FX are in the points lead for the Triple Crown Offshore series with two wins in the first two Rounds.
