IJSBA has received this press release from the San Diego Personal Watercraft Club. We congratulate these guys for their good stewardship of the water. All participants were given complimentary copies of the IJSBA World Finals DVD. April 24th San Diego, Ca. For the first time ever, iloveacleansandiego.org sponsored an on-the-water-cleanup with the San Diego Personal Watercraft Club of San Diego Bay this past Saturday April 24th. 14 jetskis and one boat covered the entire San Diego Bay, approximately 20 miles in length, and collected 330 lbs of floating trash that will NOT be sucked into our impellers. We found surf board fins, tennis shoes, 2x4s, plastic bags, plastic water bottles, glass bottles, cigarette butts, rope, and many other things that went down the storm drains and into our Bay after the recent rains.
