Those tiny reed stoppers were developed by a Japanese firm and their scope is to improve reed petals opening angle. Therefore they increase performance and throttle response through the power band. We have seen tuners using similar stoppers on Yamahas RD 250/350 in the early eighties. The pictured reed stoppers are available for Yamaha two stroke Wave Runners.
