Canadian superstar and all weather motorsports sportsman Mike Klippenstein recently built a three-cylinder SX-R with a modified aftermarket hull. The engine set-up was done by Mike himself, its a 1200cc engine with mild porting and as Mike mentioned it is a very reliable set-up. It is a fast and reliable practice boat. He raced in Canada though and he did exceptionally well. He broke the engine during practice and then he got the hollshot 7 times in 8 motos. Bottom end, he won every moto on this boat. Klipper is already working on an EFI system. That would be a challenge. His modified aftermarket hull is very stable and predictable. Klipper is a very experienced rider and he knows very well what he is doing. Watch him at the up coming IJSBA World Finals.
