After having some issues with his Yamaha FZ since it was a rental for this particular race Mike Klippenstein managed to finish fourth overall in Thailand. The endurance race had two motos and he had an problem in the first one when the throttle body came of. Next year Klippenstein will bring one of his own race boats for this race.

>Special exhaust for STX-R to SX-R application

Designed by a famous exhaust manufacturer that usually fabricates inox/carbon exhaust pipes for motorcycles in Greece. This particular project was a one-off however there was a great interest from various teams in Europe. The pipe is made by inox and it incorporates a waterjacket. It will be tested in the near future on a mild tuned STX-R 1200cc engine which has been installed in an SX-R hull. Stay tuned.

Reiterer took flight to Thailand in order to compete at the most prestige event of the year – the King’s Cup. He used the chance to host a training camp in Thailand to get comfortable to the humidity and especially hot temperatures of Asia. “The trainingcamps before races are always a great physical preparation for an event. Even cooler to spread my experiences with younger athletes, meet new friends and spend great times with old friends.” explains the 24 year old sportsman. The training camp not only attracted young talented racers. Jetrin Wattanasin (Pop-singer), who is famous for his pop songs all around the world and is a star in his country, as well as Dabomb Boonrawd a well known action sports photographer found interest to join Kevin. “The weekend ended way too early!”, explains Kevin with a smile on his face. “Now we are just finding the last racing adjustments and I am already in the middle of the race preparation for the upcoming weekend.” We are looking forward to the next Saturday and Sunday. When the best racers of the world heat up the water of Thailand and battle it out in four motos to go home with the world famous King’s Cup.
