Although the French team did not have the fastest boat out there it appeared to be the most consistent one. The Russian Team was first one who faced issues (broken battery) on its fast turbo Yamaha, then Klipper Racing was forced to dnf due to a hose clamp so gradually Pastorello Team climbed to No1 on the 16 lap of the race when the Portuguese team dnf due to clutch issues to its Yamaha. James Bushell also was force to retire on his new RXP-X300. Team Pastorello wins the Mark Hahn for fifth time and sets another record.

Multi World champion in PRO-AM Ski women Limited, Emi Kanamori will participate at the Mark Hahn race as a team member of Tom Cruise from PWCOFFSHORE.COM. Cruise’s team mate could make it and Kanamori will join him at the race.

At the Mark Hahn 300. The No8 Kawasaki Ultra 310R will be raced by Jean-Bruno Pastorello and Jean-Baptiste Botti. However, a young gun will be on boat with No88 who is Hugo Pastorello, the son of Jean-Bruno who will race it along with Didier Merle des Ilies. Team Pastorello has already tested its new engine/boat set up by doing a long-run for 5 hours a month ago. The team got two news boats from USA and prepared them with parts and engines that they had shipped already from France a month ago.

R&D Performance has already made great improvement to the tuning of the new Sea-Doo. Numbers on the GPS are positive and the new engine shows that it has a great potential. In Ptro Stock format the boat has already passed the 80mph barrier with basic tuning. More updates and a complete test report will follow soon. Stay tuned.

Multi-National and World Champion Chris MacClugage was testing Kommander K1 skis at Body Beach in Lake Havasu City. One day before the Mark Hahn 300 race MacClugage showed up for his regular training and he had the chance to test ride the K1 (with the triple Kawasaki engine) and the S1. He looked fast on the K1 and comfortable on the S1.

Talking about the potential of the S1. Watkins spent some time riding and playing around with the S1.

Scott Watkins of Yamaha USA was spotted in Body Beach in Lake Havasu City testing Kommander K1 and S1 skis. Watkins started his test ride by riding the S1 powered by Yamaha ski and then he had a go on the K1 TR-1. In his conversations with Dustin Motzouris he had nothing to say but positive comments.
