>New Force Race hood from Trinity Composites

Trinity Composites race hood is the key to maximum air flow and performance for the Kawasaki SX-R. The hood weights 13lbs and it improves handling by lowering the center of gravity and the overall performance. Air is drawn from the rear of the hood into engine compartment through forward mounted hoses in the liner. Also, a working NACA scoop located in the center of the hood skin receives direct air. On the inside a cover directs air into the engine compartment to the pipe side. This particular hood has been the work horse of Trinity Vector V-Drive 1100 race crafts. Now the company offers it separately for those looking to update their 1100 SX-R or replace the hood on their stock Kawasaki. The construction of the hood consists of pre-impregnated fiberglass using vinyl ester resin for high strength and lasting durability. The components (top and bottom) are glued together utilizing high end methacrylate glue providing superior performance at an affordable price. The brand new Force Race hood costs $450 USD and it includes hood seal installed and lock washers/nuts for the front hooks. The hood is pre-drilled in the rear in order to accommodate the oem hood latch. Photo courtesy: Trinity Composites
