We have seen many triple SX-R’s the past four months however the particular one attracted out attention due to its peculiar fuel intake system. It looks complicated for some reason but we hope that it does work properly. On the other hand aesthetics have been heavily personalized.

Shred Master has been developing for years a particular design of ride plates which scope to improve handling and overall performance under close course conditions. The particular ride plate was designed for RXP-X nad some people like Morten Arentsen (who also took the photo) are happy with the aggressive handling and race bread performance.

Last October we had the unique opportunity to visit Lake Havasu City and go for a trip on the lake with four times GP500 World Champion Eddie Lawson and Bill Chapin of R&D. The Jettribe RS-16 John and Jacket Race Suit is built, designed, and engineered for the riders' maximum comfort, flexibility, warmth and mobility. Jettribe 2011 John and Jacket RS-16John/Jacket RaceSuits are built with strategic placement of 2/3 mm neoprene panels. The 3mm panels are for the warmth and 2mm panels are built into the high movement areas: the inner arms and legs. Also, features like the Jet Grip texture print placed on the inner thigh panels and legs to provide the rider with additional traction while riding. The injected PVC rubber knee pads offer grip and protection. All seams have our interlocking flat stitches to provide a watertight seal and maximum comfort against the skin. The RS-16 neoprene's property is a close, high density foam made up of thousands of tiny air bubbles know as cells. These cells provide an insulation barrier which slows down the conduction of heat, allowing the body's heat to be retained. Jettribe RS-16 John/Jacket Race Suits are designed for the true PWC rider who is both in the water and in the cold air. We got this suit from Tony Vo of Jettribe last October during the World Finals and since then we used on every single test ride. The crucial thing about Jettribe RS-16 wetsuit is the very nice fit. It is not tight like some well known suits or loses like of the Japanese ones. It glues to the body in such a way in order to provide max comfort, unique flexibility and warmth when you need it. The zips at the far low on the legs are secured with velcro still they do not get logged by sand or debris. The Jacket is easy to fit due its diagonal rear zip. Whether practicing on a race course on a Ski or on a Runabout the suit feels as a part of your skin. You do not feel it exist even after hours or riding and practicing. The Gecko Grip provides a better grip when you ride a Runabout with OEM seat cover. The Race Shield on the knees will protect your Jettribe suit from getting scratched when you prepare your craft on the beach. Aesthetics is a personal matter however we strongly believe that in the near future we will see it coming in many color variations. The only parameter we found a bit peculiar is that to get in you try it on through the upper part i.e. the neck region. This means if you are not fit (or I would say slim) you will find it difficult to wear it. On the other hand is proves that it is made for racers who bound to be fit anyways. Overall is a very nice product and the fact that has a detachable American flag (you can chose your own country flag too) on it (Long John and Jacket) will make proud whoever wears it.

Last October we had the exclusive opportunity to test a large number of three cylinder SX-R’s which feature different aftermarket hulls. Trinity Composites hull appeared to be possibly best one for the Triple Cylinder package made by Steve Webster (read the tests under Race Tests section). Steve Webster of Kommander Industries is currently building Kommander/Trinity Vector hulls/ Triple skis for the following people: Qty 2 for Karl Copenhaver, Qty1 for Chris Lawerance ( practice ski), Qty 1 for Tyron Motzouris, Qty 1 for Mike Delaire, and Qty 1 Matrix Hull for Mark Gomez. Steve also mentioned that he is working on a few more but they are not 100% confirmed at this moment. Webster concluded his by mentioning that we are going to see more of this Kommander/Trinity Vector Triple SX-R’s in the near future.
