Dustin Farthing has been eight years with Kawasaki however recently had posted on FB that he has new plans. He put it in his own words “I have spent 8 amazing years racing for Kawasaki and they made me feel like family but today we move into the next chapter in my racing career. I personally would like to thank Joe Heim at Kawasaki for his continued support that he has offered me. Having 2 contract offers going into 2012 was a great thing for my racing career but also one of the hardest decisions in my life to leave Kawasaki. I have won multiple championships while racing for Kawasaki and this decision took me over 4 weeks to decide what was best for my future. 6pm tonight at the Atlanta Boat Show we will release what our plans are moving forward into 2012.” We know already that he has made a new hull for Ultra 300X which could possibly accommodate other engine too. Kommander Industries recently released a few photos of the new Freeride SJ project which was concluded last week. The particular boat is equipped with a RRP billet pole and nice custom paint job. Also, the engine features a billet aluminum cylinder head, Factory Pipe, filters, MSD coils and ECU as well as a revamped drive line.

Jettrim’s Old Scholl Museum has inspired lots of people and true fans of the sport to restore their old crafts or to buy on and start restoring it from square zero. Robert Sand is one of those guys who recently posted his new adventure –the restoration of a Kawasaki JS400 ’93- on FB. We wish him good luck and we look forward to see his project accomplished.

The particular craft was photographed by Yoshinoru Deguchi. It is not one of Factory Rius’s race craft but a color replica of his Team Kawasaki ’95 race craft. Nice job such a same he did not add the rest of the graphics and decals.

The AquaX 2012 Championship calendar has been released, with 2 new venues this season. This season AquaX UK will be contested by riders in three new classes whilst Championship Manager Lisa Barsby has added an all-new AquaX UK Cup in response to massive interest from potential new riders. The change in format is designed to make AquaX even more accessible so the AM and Elite categories are gone opening the new classes to all comers. Technically skis remain strictly stock except for handling modifications and like for like (no performance gain) replacement parts.
