Macc Racing will be at the performance alley this year on its own booth. The Havasu based company plans to release a new series of products that are manufactured in Japan by SE. Mac Clugage announced that the Japanese products have better quality and finish. Additionally, the anodize is of higher quality and enhances the aesthetics as well as the protection of the aluminium component. New products such as an SX-R pump cone, gas taps, trigger throttles, exhaust flange (for Ultra), advance timing cap for Ultra etc are some of the goods that will be presented on Macc Racing booth.

Hot Products is one of the largest –if not the largest- pwc aftermarket product distributors in the US and world wide. Jetskiworld.gr and Champions owner Akis Malouchos visited the new premises of the company in San Diego and they discussed the present market issues, the new aftermarket products trends as well as the company’s future plans. Scott Saito (pictured), owner of Hot Products, is known for his professionalism and his great support to the sport. He predicts the market’s future and according to its direction he plans the strategy of the aftermarket product distributor. The R&D FZR VTS Trim Driver Cam is a cam device that installs directly in place of the O.E.M. plastic VTS trim driver cam. The R&D cam is designed to recalibrate the trim position amount from an O.E.M. 7 to 8 degree per shift to a finer and speed friendly 4 degree per shift. The O.E.M. FZR neutral position setting is 85 degree or 5 degree up from horizontal zero. The new recalibrated position with the new R&D Trim Cam is 87.5 degrees or 2.5 degree up from horizontal zero. The R&D Trim Cam will deliver a more positive group of adjustments that will allow much better turning capabilities, as well as finer adjustments for rough water conditions. The R&D Trim Cam will work with the O.E.M. trim nozzle assembly, or the R&D Auto Trim Kit.

The new R&D Intercooler System will efficiently decrease superheated air temperatures produced by high performance Superchargers. Designed for 300+ horsepower applications. R&D will release soon detailed information for this new kit. Stay tuned.

The Chinese products have already made their entrance in the European market in every single market whether this is clothing, electric goods, household products, mopeds, or even cars. Recently the first Chinese made personal watercrafts were spotted in Greece. Actually, the company’s engineers were fine tunning those two watercrafts in a place were local racers use go for training. The so called Seadance will be avaible in the beginging of the new year, according to the local importer in Greece, though we would be able to ride it soon and keep you updated about the new watercraft which will be available at a very reasonable price.

Racer Elif Hofer from Seattle is the gorgeous girl that is featured on the recent World Finals 2008 official poster. She is well known for her unique character and her pure athletic spirit. She and her husband Wayne have helped out lots of other racers as well as two athletes from Greece, Vasilis and Akis. We (from Greece) wish her best of luck this year at the WF and we hope that she will succeed on any other field that she plans to get involved in the future.

The International Jet Sports Boating Association, and Kay Sykes, IJSBA Parade of Nations Chairperson, are proud to announce that in recognition of the racers accomplishments at the 2008 IJSBA Quakysense World Finals, and participation in the Parade of Nations the Mayor, Mark Nexsen will be awarding ALL RACE PARTICIPANTS with an award of excellence. Attached to each award is a commemorative coin issued by the Rotarians of Lake Havasu City. Each collectable coin is a limited edition and part of a series commemorating the history of Lake Havasu City. To receive your award, you must attend the Parade of Nations on October 9th to be held at the London Bridge Resort and Convention Center (same location as the award ceremonies) at 7:30 pm.
