Multi National and World champion Chris “The Mac Attack” Mac Clugage recently informed us (www.jetskiworld.gr) that he will attend the World Finals this year and he will race in GP Ski class. Although, we know that he has built a new hull for the Ultra 250X, Mac Clugage does not plan to race the particular race craft at the moment. Mac Clugage’s GP Ski is a mix of a Kawasaki SX-R hull and a two-stroke Sea Doo XP950 engine.

Famous tuner and owner of Jet Ski Unlimited Steve Webster makes his comments on new Yamaha FZ series: “FZR and FZS. Basically the same boat with the exception of the rear seat and that the FZS (3 seater) has a boarding step and security mode. This is an awesome ski. Very quick with good handling. It is much shorter than the FX hull and is a completely new upper and lower deck. The new telescopic bars are very functional and allow you stand up and ride the ski and not feel cramped or bent over. It turns very well and handles the chop better than any other stock ski I have ridden. I would guess the top speed to be right at 67-69mph. This will be a great race ski with lots of potential for motor upgrades”.

The R&D Yamaha SHO Multi-Pressure Port Adaptor Kit will allow quick and easy hook up of digital or manual boost gauges with the R&D Multi-port billet adaptor. The Yamaha SHO’s 1.8 liter engine platform has low ceiling rev limiter functions that offer an ultra soft cut at 7750 RPM and a soft cut at 7750 plus. The rev limiter functions on the new SHO are almost like traction control, a rev limiter that you almost do not feel in rough water conditions.
