IJSBA Begins Registration for 2008 quakysense World Finals The IJSBA is pleased to announce that registration for the 2008 quakysense World Finals is now open. Registration and schedule information are available at www.ijsba.com/wf. Early registration is encouraged to ensure that some classes do not close or are not altered. Competitors are reminded of the following registration rules for 2008: GP Ski is limited to 20 entries. Competitors must possess an IJSBA recognized license as a Pro or an Expert level rider. Competitors must be approved by the IJSBA and their registration in this class is not official until the entry is approved and funds are received. GP Runabout is limited to 18 entries. Competitors must possess an IJSBA recognized license as a Pro or an Expert level rider. Competitors must be approved by the IJSBA and their registration in this class is not official until the entry is approved and funds are received. Junior Runabout 800 Limited is limited to 12 entries. This class will require 6 entries by September 14 to be run. Pro-Am Vet Ski Limited is limited to 24 entries. This class will require 10 entries by September 14 to be run. Masters Ski Stock is limited to 24 entries. This class will require 10 entries by September 14 to be run. Amateur Classic Runabout Stock is limited to 20 entries. This class will require 8 entries by September 14 to be run. Amateur Runabout 800 Superstock is limited to 20. This class will require 8 entries by September 14 or the class will merge with Pro/Am Runabout 800 Superstock and will become Runabout 800 Superstock. Junior Sick Trick requires 5 entries by September 14. The controlled classes mentioned were requested by the racing public and will be offered so long as there is a market demand. The Power Kit 180 provides a 70hp increase delivering excellent acceleration. ECU 180 is installed. ECU is programmed to increase turbo boost, fuel delivery and engine timing for maximum performance. Plugs directly into wiring harness in place of stock ECU. HSR Blow-off Ventil is installed. Blow-off Ventil protects engine from over-boost damage. HSR Injectors (400G) are installed. Larger injectors are calibrated to match 180 ECU for optimum fuel delivery. Intercooler 160 is installed. Larger, more efficient intercooler replaces original unit delivering cooler intake air to engine. Features large, unrestricted core that exhibits minimal pressure loss compared to stock intercooler. There is also an upgrade kit for the previous stage 160hp kit. The Upgrade Kit is for upgrading the Power Kit 160BS0 set or the Power Kit 160BS1 set to a Power Kit 180 set. It includes a ECU 180HP, a fuel regulator and a racing exhaust pipe.

French company Star Bar recently launched a new turn plate that utilizes straight –not V-shape- handle bars. It does not feature bearings but bushings in order to enhance the free feeling and free motion. It is CNC machined from billet aluminium and comes anodized in order to resist corrosion. The new turn plate will match the brand new handle pole that will be available in August. The company will probably lauch an ATV-type bars that will alter the riding position.

>Another win for Craig Warner

Craig Warner won the Offshore Endurance race from Long Beach to Catalina on his specially prepared Kawasaki Ultra 250X, making his point outside of the close course racing field. His Kawasaki utilizes the stock Supercharger in order to maintain reliability, though Team Kawasaki has made tricky modifications in order to give him some extra top speed. Therefore, Kawasaki won the #1 in Offshore Endurance Racing. It is worth mentioning that the podium was toped by Kawasaki riders.
