>Tera Laho will race Mark Hahn 300

Multi US National and World Champion Tera Laho who lives in Lake Havasu Arizona plans to race the longest Endurance race, Mark Hahn 300 with the support of TechOneRacing. According to Cristophe Girello, owner of TechOneRacing, Tera will compete on a Yamaha FZR which was supplied by Scott Watkins and Bill Chapin of R&D will prepare it with parts according to the riders needs. Terra will race it along with a French rider. It is a big come back of Terra Laho in the personal watercraft racing scene. Tera captured while testing a three-cylinder SX-R after the World Finals 2012.

>TechOneRacing at Mark Hahn 300 2013

Christophe Girello owner of TechOneRacing recently informed us that he will team up with Tony Beck in order to participate in Mark Hahn 300. They will ride a Yamaha SHO which was supplied by Yamaha via Scott Watkins. R&D and Bill Chapin the local (and international) guru of tuning will support the team with parts and wrenching. Bear in mind that Christophe had done really well the last two years in this race and additionally he supported many local and foreign riders like Frenchman Jean-Bruno Pastorello. Best of luck guys.

>Eric Franciss new Kawasaki Open project

Eric Casey Francis IJSBA 2012 Pro Stock Runbout World champion will compete in two classes in 2013, Pro Stock Runabout and Pro Runabout Open. The Open boat will feature a Lee Manvell (read the story The Hull Man in the Features section) hull that is a cross between a 260X and an STX-15F hull. A super lightweight carbon construction, a crossbreed which was originally made, only one of them for Skip Holmes the great Skip of Team Motowatercraftracing. Erics Team will work on a 300X engine equipped with the OEM supercharger which is going to be modified. According to Eric they will test the hulls performance with the 300X modified with the stock blower and then they will decide what they will do in the future.

>James Masterton, King of the River

Australian James Masterton and his brother won Pro Runabut and Pro Ski Class in the King of the River event which was host in Australia last weekend. A very good weekend for both of them.

>DASA sponsors Rob Flores

Last years USA National Pro Stock and Pro Ski Champion Rob Flores has signed a new sponsor for 2013. DASA will be supplying him with carbs according to his spec and also do the porting for his triple cylinder engines again according to his specifications. Rob informed us that he will try to persuade them to design and manufacture a single or even e triple pipe set for his race crafts. This will push forward the triple-cylinder SX-R project and it will benefit other riders and teams too. We wish him good luck.
