>Who’s Favourite for Pro Runabout Open?

This is the horsepower class or the top speed class. However this year the race course is quite tight and more technical so it will count who will make it first to the holeshot buoy with absolute no hesitation. On the other hand weather conditions will be critical too on this course. Last year’s GP Runabout Champion and Pro Runabout Open Champion, James Bushell will be the man to beat. Australian riders will also be prepared and Jare Moore from S.Africa seems to be ready too. AeroAswar is getting stronger and stronger every year so do not be surprised if you see him right on top. Craig Warner is thirsty for win after the unlucky times he had the last two years and he will be on two different boats. Eric Francis was racing successfully a stock 300X all summer and we do not know whether he will be on a Pro boat for this weekend. Las but not least Dustin Farthing will bring his Pro Yamaha (different hull) for this race. So everyone will expect to see the Sea-Doo’s being very fast as well as a Yamaha and a Kawasaki trying to squeeze somewhere in between. The Pro Runabout Open class will be more interesting than any other season.

>Who will win Pro Ski Open?

Well, Chris MacClugage is on a very fast and lightweight race craft that he rides successfully during summer... Brice Lopez and Tiago Sousa are on the same hull and have won many races in Europe. Rob Flores had a great winning by winning three titles in Ski class so you better watch him this year. Jean-Baptiste Botti has proved in the past that he can ride right to the limit a very fast SX-R no matter what the water conditions are. You also count Rick Sherker the holeshot man of 2011 World Finals as well as Frenchman Vincent Villat. Valentin Dardillat is also very strng and he proved it last year by winning GP Ski. Steven Dauliach won the championship in Dubai and he is ready to defend his #1 plate. Additionally multi South African champion and 6 times world champion Dustin Motzouris has come back strong on his first ever attempt on a four-stroke ski prepared by Les Cook and he has won on it in Australia. So things are going to be interesting, spectacular and tough. You can bet the Pro Ski Open will be the race to watch this year.

>Jare Moore in Pro Runabout Open

Jare Moore is the fastest South African rider in Pro Runabout Class. This year he will participate at the World Finals on a Sea-Doo RXP-X 2012 prepared by Les Cook of Sea-Doo Centre Australia. According to Dustin Motzouris, Moore is riding on the same craft as James Bushell. Therefore, he might be one the big surprises of this year’s Pro Runabout class.

It is nice to see the Old-School World Champions providing help and support to the young guns. Nice move Mac.

>Brice Lopez in Pro Ski

Frenchman National Champion Brice Lopez was the rider who gave the first IJSBA Pro Ski World title to Hydrospace (read the test of his race craft on Race Tests section) back in 2007. This year he will compete on board a triple cylinder SX-R, a Bullett Racing V2 hull. Last year’s world champion Steven Dauliach ones said “I am afraid off Brice because he is very strong”. So will Brice charge it to the win this year?

>Will Aero make it to the podium?

It is the young Indonesian rider who made the big surprise two years ago at Mark Hahn 300 and last year he made some very impressive starts in Pro Runabout Open on board his R&D prepared Limited FZR. However, the big question is, will he have the experience and riding technique to make it to the podium? He is fast and also he is very fit though you need more than that to bring it to the number One spot. We strongly believe that this year he might be able to be the surprise in the Class.
