According to a reputable source we found out that American rider Craig Warner was unlucky in the first day of Karujet race in Guadeloupe. His Farthing Racing prepared Kawasaki broke down and as a result he end up in the last pack of riders who made it to the end. On second day the challenging conditions game him the opportunity to win the first moto in the morning. However, in the afternoon his boat faced more issues but still he managed to finish 4th. We hope that he will not end up of luck until the end of the race schedule.

>Jeff “Kamikaze” Katz

This crazy guy was the first ever rider who performed a barrel role on flat water back in the early nineties. Well, the fact that he was doing the "no mercy"" ramp jump by sitting backwards was simply insane. Well done Jeff."

>Marmon’s success in Havasu

Marmon’s performance at February’s eighth annual Mark Hahn Memorial Havasu 300 – named and held in honour of the late jet-ski endurance competitor – was nothing short of sensational and sets him up superbly ahead of the 2012 AquaX season. Not only did he win the 4-stroke stock class of the 300 mile extreme test of skill, determination and fortitude at Lake Havasu in Arizona, he did so as a solo rider in an international field mainly comprising teams of two. Truly deserving of the ‘Iron Man’ title, the British star also finished a magnificent second overall on his pure stock Kawasaki machine – a remarkable achievement. “America was such a great result, I was absolutely amazed when I came in to see the result”, added Marmon, “I’d never done the Iron Man before so to finish second overall against two rider teams on modified skis was incredible. You really have to keep your concentration, at about 180 miles – after about three hours of constant riding – you really start hitting the wall. It’s a major test. “It’s definitely one of the best things I’ve done in recent years and I think I deserved the result. Each lap is 10 miles and you have to come in every four or five for refuelling. Normally, you change pilots at this point and they do 50 minute stints each – as I was doing the race on my own though, I hardly had chance for any sustenance at the stops as my guys were so fast with the refuelling!”

>“Iron Man” Marmon returns to defend title

Global jet-ski star Russell Marmon (Christchurch, Dorset), winner of the 4-stroke stock class of the recent Mark Hahn Memorial Havasu 300 ‘Iron Man’ event in America, has confirmed he will return to the P1 AquaX Championship this year to defend the Elite 300 title won so emphatically in 2011. As the dominant force in AquaX during its inaugural season last year, the Kawasaki Ultra 300 rider made the top-tier of the championship his own but for the 2012 season an even greater level of competition is anticipated with series organisers expecting a surge of entries in the coming weeks. Marmon, one of the world’s most highly respected jet-ski racers, is delighted to return to AquaX and is relishing the promise of bigger grids, the same fantastic championship organisation and the chance to try and retain his Elite 300 crown. “I had such a good time last year in AquaX, the championship is so well organised and it’s linked in with P1 SuperStock powerboats so the events are all very well run and really enjoyable”, said Marmon, “I had a blast last year, it’s low stress, low cost and great racing so I’m delighted to return to defend the title. “We’re going to have more competition, more riders and the championship as a whole is going to be even bigger and better so it’ll be great to be back and see what we can do. The Kawasaki I’ll be riding is identical in every way to the one from last year, it’s just the 2012 version, so I’m looking forward to trying to retain the title on it.”
