Nicolas Rius and Rob Flores were fighting on the water since the mid nineties. This year both of them appeared well prepared and stronger in GP Ski Class. Unfortunately, Rius was unlucky on second moto.

At the end of Fridays LCQ Rius managed to gain a place in the starting line of Pro Runabout Open whilst Warner was left out side due to a pop up of a tube. Though, Rius visited Team Kawasaki and both riders talked about the problems that they both issued. After all its sportsmanship that it counts.

Minoru Kanamori of Team Kawasaki proved that two-strokes are still two hard to beat. By finishing 2-1 in the two motos of the class he put another IJSBA World Title under his belt. The crucial fact though is that he was in a class of his own in both motos and only by a mistake he missed the win in first moto at the small straight after the last buoy heading to the crossing line.
