>Slippery: U.S.National Tour is underway

The 2010 Hydro-Turf APBA National Tour got underway this past weekend in Parker, Ariz. and everyone in attendance was greeted with perfect racing weather. With the season getting started, Slippery representatives were on hand to support the tour and Slippery riders like Craig Warner and Peter Zernik. Both Warner and Zernik charged to podium finishes throughout the weekend in various classes and have set the stage for what should be a highly competitive series. Emi Kanamori flew the Slippery flag high in the women’s class as she posted a 1st place overall finish in the Pro-Am Women Ski Ltd class with wins in both the first and second moto. As a continuing sign of support Slippery is offering a special sponsorship to the upcoming National Tour stop in Myrtle Beach, S.C. At that event on June 5th-6th, 2010 riders in the 13-15 Junior class will be competing for an exclusive giveaway opportunity courtesy of Slippery. If a rider in the 13-15 Junior class can win three out of the four moto’s over the weekend, they will win the Slippery trifecta giveaway. The winning rider will be awarded a Slippery suit, vest and helmet. Just like the 2010 season, there are some exciting things to come from Slippery throughout the spring and summer. Slippery will be on hand during National Tour stops, and plans are in the works to host an event later this summer. Today we managed a second place, which was good and showed our capabilities.” Commented Gonçalo Martins. Martin Rodrigues, the team’s second pilot mentioned, “It’s a shame what happened yesterday. I was feeling good, and today we had an excellent start and managed a second place. It was a shame we didn’t end up on the podium”.
