>TechOneRacing racing at Mark Hahn 300

Christophe Girello of TechOneRacing reports: “It was a amazing race, the weather was not too bad, little beat rough but nothing compare to last year. With my team mate Jeremy Perez from France we used a Sea-Doo RXT IS 255 from Sea-Doo USA ( Steve Lawler ), to participate in 4stroke stock class. The boat was running at 71 miles/hour on full tank. We got help from Lynn Vick Products and R&D who made a special intake grate for this boat. We had a good start and we were at the 2nd place in our category until 7 laps before the end of the race when the Sea-Doo pump broke. We had to continue racing at a 56 miles/hour speed instead of 71mph we were reaching until then. We finish 3rd in 4stroke stock class and 7th overall with 28 laps total. TechOneRacing would like to thank the supporters of its team: Sea-Doo USA , Tech One Racing , R&D Racing , Lynn Vick Products, Jeremy Perez family, Patrick & Cedric, for the refuelling and all our supporters.

>Warner/Sheldon Team Kawasaki’s Offshore Ultra spec

The boat Craig and Victor raced was an Ultra 250 hull (same as the Ultra 260). It had an Ultra 260X engine with 9.5:1 JE Pistons and a pink Subaru injectors (like the closed course boat injectors). It was equipped with stock fuel pump, stock air box but the Green Team used a programmable Mitsubishi ECU to increase timing advance, but anyone could simply use the stock ECU with a 4 degree timing advancer. The use of MS109 fuel (VP) was unavoidable since somehow the fuel burning had to cool down. The boat is mostly the same as what Botti raced at World Finals in 2008. The waterbox has the baffles removed and it had an 07 exhaust outlet (bigger than 08). The boat had a Macc Racing carbon fiber rear seat and the front seat was recovered by Hydro-Turf. The pump was stock but oil filled it to increase reliability. The impeller was a 260X impeller with an additional 1 degree of pitch on the trailing edge and we used an 80mm nozzle. The steering nozzle was also stock. The Team used a Riva billet steering system (made by UMI) with Riva bars. Finally, the Team used a quick fill system that used dry breaks made by IMS and Riva sponsons. Additionally, we know that Team Kawasaki altered the stock cooling in order to provide a better engine/intercooler temperature that enhances overall engine performance.
