Finished up Moto 1 here in Atlantic City, NJ at the 5th round of the ProWatercross tour. After a very poor start I was able to make my way in to 3rd place. Definitely felt the effects of poor training between rounds, as I hit a wall the last 5 minutes of the moto. I missed a buoy and dropped into 4th place, but was able to give it one last push to get into 3rd at the finish line. Top 4 finishers: 1-Chris MacClugage, 2-Jimmy Wilson, 3-David Redinger, 4-Josh Block

Mike “Canadian Ace” Klippenstein wins the second Round of the Triple Crown Offshore series, the famous race of Long Beach to Catalina on his freshly built R&D Turbocharged Yamaha FX SVHO. Prior going to California for the race Klipper spent some time in Lake Havasu City in order to test and evaluate some new parts that R&D has designed for the new Yamaha. Therefore, his race craft was equipped with a new R&D Aquavein scoop grate, new sponson settings, revised engine/turbo settings as well as a new seat. The R&D turbo kit has been race proven with another win and with remarkable Bullet Proof reliability. Mike Klippenstein and his R&D Turbopowered Yamaha FX are in the points lead for the Triple Crown Offshore series with two wins in the first two Rounds.

Phil Pope topped the leader board yesterday with two straight wins to continue his dominance in the 300 class. "Nobody shreds like that guy in these gnarly conditions"" raved the commentators. Joe Harvey was the best of the rest yet despite pushing Pope in the early stages had to settle for second. Khris Leach rounded out the top 3. Can Pope make it 3 in a row?
