Fitting then that the company responsible for the initial mass production and sale of this exciting style of racing and adventure craft is returning to its roots and unveiling a radical new machine for the 2017 season. Now in its final stages of development, the new JetSki is propelled by four stroke power and returns to a stand-up riding format making the new craft suitable not just for racing but those seeking the ultimate in water-borne solo excitement. Dubbed the SX-R, the latest in a long and successful line of solo stand-up JetSki personal watercraft from Kawasaki is sure to add further silverware to racing cabinets and attract thrill seekers to the Kawasaki brand according to Masanori Inoue, Managing Director of Kawasaki Motors Europe: “The JetSki brand sends a powerful message about Kawasaki and our desire to create innovative and fun to ride products. Using technology from across our internal skill base – including the motorcycle division – we are confident that we will take stand up personal watercraft to a new level when the new four-stroke SX-R is unveiled in October this year”.

R&D offers professional ECU Reprogramming services for the new 2016 TR1 3 CYL. Yamaha ECU’s for VX and V1 RIDE and NON RIDE version models. R&D’s been hard at work testing extensively with the new 2016 TR1 3CYL. All 2016 Model ECU’s which have the New Ride System, Dual Throttle System, Brake System, and Cruise/No-Wake Modes will all retain 100 percent the O.E.M. dash functions and new Ride System features! The new 2016 TR1 packages that do not have the new Ride System will also retain ALL the O.E.M. dash functions and features. NOTE: NON RIDE MODELS will be 6FB-00 ECU’s, and RIDE MODELS will be 6EY-A0. R&D’s high performance ECU program files are “ALL NEW” for the 2016 3 CYL Models improving overall horsepower and top speed performance all done safely and reliably. R&D’s initial testing and evaluation of the O.E.M. ECU has revealed the stock files to be on the lean side and have sluggish throttle response and soft overall power. The R&D ECU tunes offer a big wake up call in performance. The new tunes deliver powerful gains in acceleration and top speed performance while maintaining all the O.E.M. dash functions and features. The R1, R2, and R3 ECU programs allow maximum performance gains to be reached utilizing 91+ octane pump gasoline. Entry level programs allow the enjoyment of a raised RPM limit setting as well as the internal power limiters being raised to allow maximum performance. Ignition timing and fuel tables have been carefully and professionally altered and tuned to safe AFR values for super safe recreational performance. Higher performing ECU programs for the TR1 3 CYL ECU’s are also under development and will be announced through updates on the R&D website, so stay tuned.

Emile Le Gros Deschamps, a current reader of Jetskiworld.gr has got this engine as well as the drive line of it and he is trying to find out where it came from in the first place. Since it has a snowmobile type engine start mechanism it creates many suspicions. We hope that our close friend Craig Boyd who is very familiar with old school parts finds the answer for us and for our reader.

Spark Trixx is one of the two new Sea-Doo models for 2017. It features 900 HO engine with iBR and a digitialy operated trim system. Also, it has tricky aluminum bars with an adjustable riser and step wedges for better grip while performing tricks. It will be available in its unique colour package (Candy Blue & Chili Pepper) and graphics (custom graphics will also be available). Spark Trixx will ideal for playing around and doing tricks as jet ski enthusiasts were doing with the early nineties two-seaters. Official BRP USA has not released yet the detail spec of its 2017 line up however on YTube there are a few promotional videos.
