Jettrim mats on K1’s

Kommander Industries selected the best mats for the new K1 hulls and those are the ones made by Jettrim. The particular race craft is being prepared for Tyron Motzouris. >Kommander K2 on its way

After designing and manufacturing K1, Kommander Ind. is moving fast on its new project which is a special hull for Yamaha. Yamaha three-cylinder engine will fit in to it. According to Dustin the pre-2000 GPR engine would produce more power than the Kawasaki one. The new hull features a redesigned deck with a different insert for the pole bracket. This is the new K1 SX-R lightweight hood that is available from Kommander Industries. According to Dustin Motzouris is has 4 air ducts and the weight varies to strength required by customer. It costs $695 and it available from Kommander Ind upon request. Dustin also mentioned that the air ducts are unique in shape and dimensions and were not shown on photo on purpose.

Another Kommander K1 race craft has been completed by Kommander Ind. crew and is ready for shipping to Canada. Owner Delair in Canada is looking forward for his new ride. Kommander K1 hulls and complete race boats become more popular lately. I wonder why.

>Three-cylinder engine from Yamaha

There are lots of rumors regarding what Yamaha will present for 2016. It was published in the past that for many years the company is working on a four-stroke stand-up ski. However, it is very cautious regarding the warranty issues since water bounds to get in that small engine compartment. So the company wants to make sure that the warranty will be safe for the customers unlike what Hydrospace did in the past... Yamaha has developed a three cylinder four-stroke engine that plans to show it in a new Entry Level Runabout. Also, there is a lot of talking about fitting this new engine on a new Blaster hull (actually Bullett Racing is working on a four-stroke Blaster project too...). Will Yamaha use the same three-cylinder four-stroke engine for its new stand-up? The two Japanese pwc manufacturers are coming very close to present their new stand-up. Will they both do it this year? Time will show.
