Warm weather this spring gave sales an early boost that left questions as to whether the trend would hold through summer or be tempered by Q1 sales. However, sales of 15-foot or greater powerboats continued to grow by 10 percent year-over-year amongst Bellwether states in August, according to the latest figures from the Info-Link Technologies Bellwether report. The data is based on new U.S. boat registrations. The 10 percent growth of the powerboat market during August was driven largely by continued year-over-year growth for the outboard boat market, which was up by 12.5 percent for the 5th straight month among the bellwether states. Sales for PWCs improved in both Bellwether states and across the nation. Ski boats and PWCs had a drastic improvement over 2011 this summer, spending July and August at a 5 percent improvement in sales in 2012. Sale trends for PWCs amongst all states trended right in line with the Bellwether average from June, with PWC sales up 2.5 percent for all states in June compared to last year. Bellwether states are geographically dispersed states representing roughly half of the US boat market (which varies by market segment and time of year).

The Canadian company celebrates its 25th Anniversary and launch the new line up for 2013 which lists 14 watercrafts. The Luxury Performance class has three models, GTX 155/215, GTX S 155 and the GTX Limited iS 260. The Recreation class comprises of GTS 130, GTI 130, GTI SE 130/155 and the GTi Limited 155 with the green and white color playing key role to the aesthetics. The Sport section lists two models: Wake 155 and Wake Pro 215. Last but not least the Musclecraft devision lists 5 units, GTR 215, RXT- 260, RXP-X 260 and RXT-X aS260. Six times World Champions, South African Dustin Motzouris he is already in Havasu along with his wife, daughter and his brother Tyron. He has already started practicing on Lake Havasu’s water to get used to the climate and water conditions as well as to find out what his fellow competitors are doing. We wish him best of luck.

Jeff Troegner is one of the riders who compete in many events and he is always on a fast stand-up. He riders well in close course or even on surf conditions.
