Part #802-03803 R&D R3 ECU; Reprogrammed ECU for the FX HO offers offshore race inspired and race tested ignition timing map advancements that produce quicker acceleration and great top speed performance. The fuel maps are tuned to offer a cleaner than stock idle (leaner idle), clean and green cruise areas which will keep fuel consumption either the same or better than stock in the cruising ranges, improved hard acceleration enrichment for the hard core rider that wants a more aggressive mid range acceleration, and an overall improvement to top speed or wide open throttle ranges. The rev limiter is raised to allow up to 8350 RPM that will promote a more positive pump hook up in rough water conditions. The R3 ECU Program has been used to win the N.A. Class Overall in the MH300 Offshore Race two years in a row, as well as Iron Man Class 1st Overall in 2011. The R3 ECU programs are 91 octane (pump fuel) safe. The R3 ECU program can be used with R&D Performer, Stage 1 and 2 kits. The R3 program file does not require a PowerShot Fuel Tuner. Used to win the N.A. Runabout class in the 2012 Mark Hahn 300 Endurance Race.NOTE: Custom Rev Limiter settings available upon request.

The photo says it all. Another racecraft made by Kommander Industries and Steve Webster who is dedicated on building winning race craft and not just any race craft. The particular engine is one of his latest’s triple spec engines which produce more torque and power in order to accelerate faster from one buoy to another. Webster rely mostly on Vector Trinity Composites hull when it come to a full blown race craft. The photo says it all. The particular 15F engine equipped SX-R was prepared by Japanese aftermarket company Sato Engineering. We have seen it in the past and we have published related photos and spec in the Features section. However the particular one was prepared for the International Boat Show that was held this year in Japan nad it was launched in SE booth. The craftsmanship and the details taken to every single part are absolutely great. Such a shame Kawasaki is still holding the project in its draw...
