Riva Motorsports had on display at the World Finals its brand new Turbocharged kit for the Sea-Doo RXP-X 2012. Only A few new about the fact that Eric Lagopoulos was racing the exactly the same kit in Pro Runabout Open class. IJSBA Pro Freestyle World Champion, Kazuaki Sakaida was featured in the cover of the two Japanese watercraft magazines. This was a great achievement for the young Japanese rider who made proud his sponsors.

This is a very interesting project and the Japanese rider Hiromasa Kaneko achieved it recently. He managed to put the engine inside the narrow SX-R hull by constructing a new, single pipe that tops the engine. As he has mentioned he does not know yet if the result will be good but testing time is on the way. We hope to hear good news since some approached this triple-cylinder frenzy with a different option.

Twenty pounds of Water-cooled Monster Boost now available. The C20X Racing Monster Compressor Wheel and Water-cooled Housing System pumps up to 20X pounds of boost utilizing the OEM Yamaha cams, cam timing, and valves. R&D is proud to announce our new Ultra 250-260 ECU reprogramming services. The engineering staff at R&D has developed ECU programs to allow new performance levels to be reached for recreational enthusiasts and racers who are interested in more performance through reprogramming the OEM ECU. Entry level programs will allow the enjoyment of advanced ignition timing, and re-calibrated fuel maps. The Ignition timing and fuel maps are developed to safely maximize performance with 91 octane fuel. Programs offered are recreational performance tuned with safe AFR values, and can be further custom tuned (Richened) to accommodate additional boost levels. Customers who have purchased an R&D Powershot Fuel Control Unit can use the Powershot to further custom tune the AFR to work with the new ECU Program. R&D Powershot Fuel Control Units are not required on entry level recreational programs using stock boost. However, custom fuel tuning with the Powershot Fuel Tuner can be an add-on or additional upgrade that is suggested for higher performance applications with increased boost. Fuel tuning or AFR conditions should always be checked and verified as values will always be slightly different from one engine set up to another.
