Bill Chapin announced at the end of the day of Mark Hahn 300, 2017 race that he (and R&D) plans to cooperate with Team Pastorello in order to improve the overall performance of the Ultra and the SX-R skis. Team Pastorello and GoFastUS (of Christophe Girello) will also distribute the new aftermarket parts of R&D. The French team was using all the new R&D parts on its winning SX-R ski which was ridden by Raphael Maurin and Jean-Baptiste Botti.

The Havasu based American company has already designed and fabricated many different mats and side pads for the new Kawasaki stand-up. Most of the 9 skis that competed in the Mark Hahn featured Jettrim mats. Although the new SX-R does not have rail caps Jettrim’s side pads do come over the top in order to provide even better grip to the rider’s lower legs. Also, when you wand to get on board from deep water your hands have better grip. Call Jettrim to find out the new colors and designs of the Jettrim mats.

By using the right hood hooks. The pictured ones were specifically designed and manufactured for the Kawasaki four-stroke SX-R and they were race proven at the Mark Hahn 300 2017 race. Some riders that choose to use the ones that were designed for the 800 SX-R got surprised when their hood pop out.
