It has been posted in the past that two Japanese firms have manufactured an aftermarket lightweight hood for the new SX-R. However, TBM Racing plans to release its version very soon in the USA. The price of this lightweight aftermarket, made of fiberglass hood will be 895USD which is much cheaper than the Japanese versions. TBM Racing will soon release more tech details regarding this new hood.
