>R&D sponsons for Factory Kawasaki Team

These were the latest sponsons that Team Kawasaki used on Craig Warners GP Runabout race craft. They were designed and fabricated by R&D and tested extensively in Havasu prior heading to the World Finals. The illustrated sponsons were used on the lightweight Craig Warner Ultra hull which was tested exclusively by Jetskiworld.gr with Kawasakis turbo engine a few years ago. >Modifications for better handling

Team of Jean-Baptiste Botti was seeking for better handling under the rough water conditions in Thailand. So what Franco Dettori insisted was to remove a few tenths of a millimetre from the rear end of the oem ride plate. So the team used sand paper to clear of the ride plate and Franco was taking measurements little by little to perfect it.

>Hull with a great feature

HKS team uses a Factory Yamaha hull for its race team. A great feature of this hull is that the upper part where the seat rests is detachable therefore, it can be removed and leave the mechanic with plenty of space to work on. This is very important for having immediate access to the supercharger, the intercooler and the rest of the complicated bolt on parts especially under race conditions.

The axial flow single stage pump is one of the parts that slow down the performance even of the most powerful watercrafts. Recently we were informed by a certain team that carried out some tests and found out that only the 30% of the actual horsepower is translated in to useful thrust. It is obvious that a big portion of power gets lost on the way
If some one could manufacture a pump with a twin-blade configuration rotating on opposite direction each one of them then the performance would have increased very much. Some people out there are working on it however it is not a cheap project.

>No Waterbox for Dardillat

Valentin Dardillat has a unique set up on his 3-cylinder SX-R. He does not use the oem waterbox not even a modified one. Simply he passes the silicon tube from the front and then directs it in to muffler straight in to the through-hull silencer. In the past he had mentioned that this muffler is made by Cobra Watercraft in France.
