Πρόσφατα η Αμερικάνικη εταιρεία R&D κατασκεύασε το νέο πρόσθετο δαχτυλίδι για την τουρμπίνα του 300Χ με στόχο την βελτίωση της επιτάχυνσης και της τελικής ταχύτητας του σκάφους. Σηκώνει πλήρως κατά 1 μοίρα τον κώνο με αποτέλεσμα να ελαφραίνει αισθητά το ρύγχος του σκάφους μειώνοντας το spray νερού και φυσικά την τριβή της γάστρας στην επιφάνεια του νερού. Είναι κατασκευασμένο από μασίφ αλουμίνιο και συνιστάτε η αφαίρεση της όπισθεν από το σκάφος. Συνοδεύεται απ’όλες τις απαραίτητες πληροφορίες για την τοποθέτησή του η οποία γίνεται χωρίς την χρήση ειδικών εργαλείων. Ο κωδικός του ανταλλακτικού είναι Pt. # 141-30000. Είναι ήδη διαθέσιμο.

Έπειτα από εκτεταμένες δοκιμές και τεστ που διήρκησαν περισσότερους από τέσσερις μήνες η R&D παρουσιάζει για το ευρύ κοινό τις νέες υπηρεσίες της στις χαρτογραφήσεις των ECU για το νέο Sea-Doo RXP-X 2012. Ως γνωστόν έπρεπε να παρακαμφθεί ο κόφτης του GPS που φρενάρει τις επιδόσεις στα 67-68mph και που επιπλέον επεμβαίνει στην πεταλούδα του σώματος του ψεκασμού. Έπειτα από πολλές δοκιμές η R&D σιγούρεψε την λειτουργία αυτού και την σταθεροποίηση της πίεσης boost στα 6-7 lbs. Κατά συνέπεια η πίεση boost ανέρχεται στα 10 lbs με την νέα R3 ECU και οι σ.α.λ. αγγίζουν τις 8.250+ χωρίς την λειτουργία του κόφτη τελικής ταχύτητας (μέσω του GPS). Επίσης, με τη χρήση της συγκεκριμένης ECU συνεχίζεται η χρήση κανονικής βενζίνης 91+οκτάνια και έχει μεταβληθεί ο χρονισμός της ανάφλεξης. Το κέρδος είναι η ισχυρότερη επιτάχυνση από τις χαμηλές στροφές, η εκρηκτική διαφορά στις μεσαίες σ.α.λ. με αύξηση της ισχύος περίπου κατά 30-35 ίππους (στους 9-10 ίππους ανά πρόσθετο pound) ίππους και την τελική ταχύτητα να εκτοξεύεται κατά 8mph. H R&D συνιστά τη χρήση διαφορετικού impeller και του pump cone της εταιρείας για να λειτουργεί θετικά στο σύνολό του το σκάφος. R&D now offers the new C24 Monster Wheel & Water Cooled Compressor Housing Kit. The new Billet C24 Monster Compressor Wheel and Water-cooled Housing System can pump up to 24 pounds of boost utilizing the OEM cams and cam timing. The C24 pumps out 20-22 pounds of boost @ 8600-8800 rpm and 24 pounds of boost @ 9000 rpm. The C24’s large inducer and exducer wheel diameters along with an aggressive blade design are the key to pumping more CFM airflow volume throughout the entire RPM range. The R&D C24 series compressor wheels offer the highest levels of airflow and horsepower gains available for the 1.8 Yamaha engine. The R&D C24 Monster Wheel, R&D Racing Camshafts, and a properly tuned ECU and E.F.I system can achieve well over 425+ horsepower. The C24 Water Cooled system was used by Ron Allison to win the 2011 HydroDrag Pro Super Stock Speed Alley competition. R&D is proud to announce our new line up of Sea-Doo RXP-X 260 reprogramming services. The engineering staff at R&D has developed ECU programs to allow new performance levels to be reached for recreational enthusiasts and racers who are interested in more performance through reprogramming the OEM ECU. The R&D ECU Reprogram Service is one of the first performance upgrades that should be done to the new RXP-X 260. The RXP 260 ECU has an internal top speed limit governor that is GPS controlled to only allow 67-68 mph. The GPS speed limit governor controls the throttle plate to modulate and restrict airflow CFM volume into the intake plenum which restricts horsepower. R&D has tested and verified that the throttle plate modulation controls and limits the boost pressure to 6-7 pounds. The R&D R3 ECU Reprogram produces some serious horsepower and performance upgrade gains with a worked over ignition timing map, re-calibrated fuel maps, increased rev limiter functions to allow 8250+ rpm, and removed GPS speed control which allows maximum boost pressure to be reached. With the increased rev limiter settings and 1-1 throttle ratio allowed, the boost pressure with the stock supercharger will be up to 10 full pounds. The R3’s altered ignition timing and fuel tables safely maximizes horsepower performance output with 91 octane pump gas, allowing the Sea-Doo 260 engine to accelerate much quicker out of the hole and pull harder through the mid range with up to 8 mph speed gain. Generally, there is a 9-10 horsepower gain per pound of boost added, this coupled with reworked ignition and fuel tables, a 30-35 horsepower gain can be expected with the R3 ECU Program. R&D offers the popular R3 ECU Programs in several Rev Limit setup ranges. Please view the chart offered below for target rev limit segments offered for specific riding conditions or type of racing. R&D R3 is a vital and necessary key to unlocking and adding performance to the new Sea-Doo 260 engine platform. Whether you are a recreational enthusiasts or an all out racers who is interested in more performance, the R3 ECU is an absolute “Must Doo” Upgrade. Fuel tuning or AFR conditions should always be checked and verified as values will always be slightly different from one engine set up to another. Higher performing programs are continuously under development and will be announced through updates on the R&D web site, so stay tuned. Custom program files can also be performed to accommodate just about any combination of performance level or type of fuel being used. R&D strongly suggests that AFR tuning be periodically verified using Innovate Products LM1 or LC1 Logging Kit also available from R&D.
