Chris MacClugage was using a brake system also. His team, Macc Racing had designed and fabricated a new trim tab system along with Bill Chapin. It was operated manually via a cable from the left trigger lever. It was very soft, easy to use and it was designed in order to drop the front of the craft and create a larger surface contact between the hull and the water. Therefore, it was making it easier for Chris to cut off speed prior to entering the orbit around the buoy. Macc Racing will soon release this trim tab system in the market at an attractive price.
