This is the restrictor plate that was used in Junior classes for the young riders who raced the new Kawasaki SX-R. By installing this pictured restrictor plate to the exhaust the top speed does not go further than 40mph. This means that the longer and heavier ski is much slower than its predecessor the 800 SX-R. So what is the point using the new ski for Junior classes? At least they should have made it larger in order to detune the top speed to 50mph.
