It is well known that Team Kawasakis chief mechanic Minoru Kanamori is one of the best engine and race craft builders and his race craft always differs by having something special built on it. At the World Finals his SX-R was equipped with specific triple fin on the cone of the pump. According to Kanamori this fin was enhancing the pressure and the direction of the water towards its exit from the pump. The difference is very small in respect to the overall performance though every single detail plays a key role to the actual good performance of a race craft. Do not be surprised if this modification comes out in the production line next year.
