R&Ds new C5-11 Blade Series Racing Monster Compressor Wheel Kit for Yamaha SHO/FZ/FZR engines is a new ALL OUT racing product addition for 2009. The C5 will deliver the highest horsepower upgrade available for the HKS supercharger housing. The R&D C5-11 Monster Wheels modern low profile, high flow 11 blade design incorporates larger inducer and exducer diameters. The larger inducer and exducer diameters will work hard to pump more air flow at all rpms producing significantly increased horsepower over the R&D C3-11. The R&D Monster Wheel Kit will deliver 15 solid pounds of boost pressure at 8300 rpms and 17 pounds of boost at 8500 rpms. This supercharger modification upgrade is the one that pulled holeshots and won motos in expert modified at the 2008 World Finals, as well as used at the 2008 Kings Cup in Thailand to beat out the Turbocharged Yamahas. The R&D C5-11 Monster Wheel Kit is a shop service upgrade that is performed at R&D (IN HOUSE) to your HKS supercharger. R&D will disassemble your supercharger completely, bore out and re-contour the housing to accept the C5-11 compressor wheel. R&D also welds and extension to the HKS outlet to allow double or T-bolt clamps to keep outlet hoses secure with high boost pressures. R&D installs the new billet Exducer Seal Plate Kit necessary for larger exducer diameters. The C5-11 Racing Monster Wheel Upgrade Kit will require an aftermarket E.C.U. such as an R&D/VI-PEC, MOTEC, AUTRONIC, HALTECH, ETC. Also a R&D High Performance Intercooler Kit must be used, along with some serious pump assembly and Impellor upgrades. The C5-11 will require high grade racing gasoline. Boost rated 12/15/17 P.S.I. (12 @ 7800 and 15@8300 and 17@8500). The new R&D C5-11 blade series compressor wheels offer the highest levels of airflow and horsepower gains available for the 1.8 Yamaha engine utilizing stock HKS supercharger housing. Aftermarket ignition systems and a C5 Monster properly tuned can achieve well over 350 H.P. With the R&D C5-11 Kit, who needs a turbocharger kit?
