We have mentioned this fact last October from Havasu though at that time MoteC was still experimenting on the S4 unit. MoTeC has just expanded its range of Plug-In engine management solutions for Personal WaterCraft (PWCs) with a new ECU Kit for the Hydrospace S4 - a stand-up ski built specifically for racing. Following on from MoTeCs success with Yamaha, Kawasaki and Sea-Doo PWCs, the Hydrospace kit delivers all the power and flexibility of a fully programmable ECU with the convenience of plug-and-play installation. To ensure customers are up and running without delay, MoTeC provides a finely tuned start file that delivers a significant power boost straight out of the box. However, the true benefits of the M400 are realised when the tune is precisely optimised for the individual racer, taking into account performance modifications, fuel quality and riding experience. Wideband Lambda, data logging and other upgrades are available as options and may be enabled at any time. The Hydrospace S4 is built without gauges or warning lights, so riders wanting to set up alerts may choose to integrate a programmable MoTeC Shift Light Module. The SLM is a compact array of intensely coloured LED lights that can be configured to indicate various conditions, such as optimum boost levels for the ideal race launch.
