The particular device is called flow bench and is has been produced by Superflow. By working on this device you can actually test the air flow through different objects like carburetors, air filter, cylinder ports, charger wheels etc. On our visit to Bill Chapins research office (R&Ds Pro tuner) we actually realize that Chapin was working and testing extensively different Supercharger wheels and cases on R&Ds flow bench in order to produce the right and advanced horse power packages for the FZR/SHO engine.
