Back in 2007 satellite rider Chris MacClugage had raced the first Turbo-charged Ultra but things were not on his side. This year Factory Team Kawasaki used a new recipe on the special four-stroke STX-R race craft, that features a turbo-charged set up. According to Craig Warner the power band is lot different and the overall performance of the craft is much better. Additionally he had to alter his riding style and cardio work out in order to be able to push the new engine to the limit.
