We have seen in the past people putting ice around the intecooler in order to keep it cool at the start. Also, some other try to keep the fuel as cold as possible like in MotoGP. The Japanese guys at AMC Racing made a watercooled fuel tower in order to lower the temperature of the fuel to the induction manifold. Denser gas and denser air result in a better overall performance. Not a bad idea, hey? They have this system on sale.
