The pictured pump intake was spotted on Buns latest hull. Note the peculiar shape of the intake track which was specifically sculptured in order to allow more water to go through the pump. The need for more water is due to the use of larger pump and big bore engines. This is another way to transfer more water to the pump and make use of the engines horsepower by translating it into thrust.
