The illustrated heat shield had been designed for the Yamaha 1.8 Liter engine and its scope it to reduce heat transfer to the intake manifold. Lower temperatures results in a more dense air i.e. better overall performance. This item according to Rogue Racing is ready for production. It will be available shortly.
